Sincerely Yours® challenges each chapter member of Delta Delta Delta to
send 50 letters to family, friends and neighbors encouraging them to make a
contribution to St. Jude. Tri Delta has pledged to endow $1 million for the
hospital's Teen Room, which is an oasis for teen patients. This is a place
for patients 13 -19 years of age to connect with other teens without the
distractions of doctors, parents and younger children.
Texas A&M University's Tri Deltas participated in the Sincerely Yours®
Letter Writing Campaign for the first time in Spring of 2006. Our chapter
wrote over 5,000 letters in March to celebrate Tri Delta / St. Jude month.
To date, Tri Delta members have raised $945,854 towards the endowment, and
Aggie Tri Deltas have raised over $8,753. |
